Referring to your letter of the 29th of

September, asking for certain information regarding Mr.

Tacchi, late of Hong Kong and now 3rd Engineer of the 8.8. "Suisang" belonging to the Indo-China Steam Navigation

Co. Ltd.

Mr. Tacchi rejoined this service on the 10th September last.

(a)

The rate of pay he received from that date and is now receiving is £13.13.0 per month with 20% war bonus added.

(3) The Steamers "Kutsang" "Namsang" and "Suisang"

have been requisitioned by the Government and are working under direct Government control.
